A new scheme for KS3 is being introduced to allow pupils to start GCSE studies in Science. Of course, Y7 and 8 are in line with the National Curriculum in preparation for Key Stage 4.

Suitable if you wish to study A levels at college

BTEC Science

Study aspects of 3 Sciences.  There are no exams and leads to the equivalent of 2 GCSEs

Suitable for vocational college courses

GCSE Exams are held in January and June each year.
