SCHOOL DINNER
Children may stay for a "multi-choice" lunch as soon as they start full time schooling. Please let us know on the first day whether your child will have a school meal, a packed lunch or will be having a meal at home. It is very important that you do not change these arrangements without notifying us as we need to keep a careful check on children at dinner time. School Meals are provided and they currently cost £2 per day £10 per week. Please send dinner money into school on Mondays in a clearly marked sealed envelope.
PACKED LUNCHES
Packed lunches may be eaten in school. Please label your child’s lunch box. For safety reasons hot drinks, fizzy drinks and glass containers are not allowed. In hot weather and/or where dairy products are used in the packed lunch it is a good idea to include small ice packs (available from several local stores).
In order to encourage healthy eating, we recommend that children have a well balanced packed lunch e.g. sandwiches and a piece of fruit. Please do not include sweets in your child’s packed lunch.
FREE SCHOOL MEALS
Many families are entitled to claim free school meals for their children. Please look into your entitlement to these, and apply if you are eligible even if you do not wish to take them as some of our funding is dependent on your registration.
