The School Council plays an active part in all aspects of school life. Each class vote for a member to represent their class on the council for a minimum term of six months. The school council then elects a Chairperson and a Secretary. The council meets at least once every half term to discuss current issues and plan for forthcoming events. Some representatives from the Council also sit on the all through School Council in order to contribute to whole school developments
Recent work
During the Summer term, the Council was given a budget to improve the quad garden near reception. The children worked collaboratively to select, cost, measure the area prior to ordering furniture. They also participated in a presentation to the Mayor of Halton to share their hopes and aspirations for the new school building.
