We are a 52 place nursery offering free entitlement for 3 and 4 year old children from all areas of Runcorn.
New children are admitted every term following the Local Authority’s admission policy. Children are given a morning or afternoon place and attend for 5 sessions per week.
At this time, parents are offered one extra session (in the morning with a packed lunch) if their child has an afternoon place. This ensures that we offer 15 hours nursery provision. There is some degree of flexibility with other children attending 2 ½ full days a week.
All our staff are very experienced and highly qualified and provide a stimulating and safe environment in which all children can develop their full potential.
The Grange Nursery was opened in 1975 as a purpose built Nursery. The building is open plan with two small rooms off the main area. There is a large outdoor area, with a pleasant garden which is used most of the time for all curriculum activities.
In September 2010 the nursery became part of the Grange all-through school and we are looking forward to having a brand new, state of the art school building in 2013 although our intake of children is not limited to children who will be attending the Grange School. We regularly take children who will be attending St. Edwards, St. Clements, The Brow, Pewithall and others. We welcome all children of nursery age in Halton.
