As a school, we keep portfolios of evidence across the key subject areas. Each child also has a personal Profile book, which shows progress throughout his/her Infant Years.
Twice each year we will send you a more formal invitation to come along and look at the profiles and the children’s other work. The teacher will discuss with you about the progress your child is making in the various subject areas and next step targets for learning are set. We also give you a detailed written report on your child’s progress each July.
More formal assessments are made at the end of Key Stage One. Teachers report to parents National Curriculum Levels based upon their assessments. National task and test materials are used to underpin teacher judgements.
Autumn Term
Reception - week beginning 17th October 2011, late night Tuesday 18th October.
Year One and Year Two - beginning 10th October, late night Tuesday 11th October.
Spring Term
Reception – week beginning 19th March 2012, late night Tuesday 20th March.
Year One and Year Two – week beginning 12th March 2012, late night Tuesday 13th March.
